I registered for the NaBloPoMo (National Blog Post Month) challenge because I wanted to touch base with my writing self, but the annual NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month) that many writers embrace didn’t fit with my goals; writing 50,000 words in a month is a huge time commitment.
If you’ve been following my Mind Drawing blog, you will know my focus has been on my exhibition at Blarney Books and Art 400km away in Port Fairy.
I’ve also been focusing on bringing the exhibition back to Melbourne’s South East, where I worked in public during the creation of the some of the works.
Through the collaborative drawings made by communities at each location, the Mind Drawing Children’s Stories Project links four municipalities: Cardinia Shire, Yarra Ranges, City of Casey and the Shire of Moyne.
Participants at each have told me they will be interested in finding differences and commonalities in the drawings.
